The Petaluma Chinese School was founded by the Petaluma Chinese Christian Church
in March of 2001. It is a non-profit organization and is dedicated to the education
of the Chinese language and culture. We focus on learning reading, writing, and
speaking Chinese language.
We started Chinese lessons with students aged from 6 through 13, and have a two-hour
class once a week during every Sunday afternoon. Due to the popular demand, in spring
2003, the second class was opened; in spring 2005, the third class was opened; and
in fall 2006, the fourth class was opened. In fall 2007, the first class was ended
because most of students went to colleges and some wnet to high school.
In fall 2008, we opened another new class at begining level. Currently, from
begining level to advanced level, we have Ms. Wang's class, Ms. Leung's Class, Ms.
Shi's class and Mr. Zhang' class. |

Approximately 16 students per class with one teacher and one assistant.

The textbook we are using, Chinese Language, is authored and published by the Chinese
Language Institute of China Ji Nan University.

All Four Classes:
Every Sunday Afternoon 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm
-- Bible study is available from 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm
-- Mandarin Class is scheduled from 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Note:
Teacher Zhang's Class started in spring 2003.
Teacher Shi's Class started in spring 2005.
Teacher Leung's Class started in fall 2006.
Teacher Wang's Class started in fall 2008.

Monthly tuition: $50
