Welcome you all! It is a great pleasure to teach Chinese at our school. Please check
out some of the upcoming schedules and feel free to give your concerns and suggestions:
For Saturday morning class:
Please check:
Students have received the textbook (Volume two) and exercise books: 2A & 2B.
- Start new lesson 1 in Volume two: talk about what we do in the Chinese school. Study
the words "zai" and "xi huan". Repeat the er ge (p.6) from memory.
- Study lesson 2 in Volume two: practice the dialogues.
- Review lessons 1 and 2 in Volume two and then have a test.
- Practice han yu pin yin and sing the songs together.
For Saturday afternoon class:
- Study new lesson 10 in Volume one: talk about the family members and tell your own
families, and do substitution practice using the verbs, "shi", "you"
and "ai".
- Start new lesson 11 in Volume one: tell about what your house look like. Be very
creative!
- Do review for lessons 10 and 11 in Volume one and then have a test.
- Practice han yu pin yin and sing the songs together.
Remember that teaching the children is teamwork. Together we can build better future
for the next generation!
